What is a List?

A list is a compilation of related items, such as a collection of museum objects, a flora and fauna guide, or a directory of cafes. Lists are versatile and ideal for homepages when there are multiple tours or offerings to present. They can also be used for "Top 5" features, curated selections, general information, or quick-access content, making them a flexible tool for organizing and presenting different types of information.

A list can be displayed in various layouts, including:

  • Wide List: A horizontally expansive layout that showcases items in a visually engaging manner.
  • Text List: A straightforward list format that emphasizes textual descriptions of each item.
  • Grid List: A structured layout that arranges items in a grid format, making it easy to compare and view multiple entries at once.

Below are examples of lists as seen in live apps:

Both Tour and List features include a map and geofencing capabilities. Additionally, you can set up in-app purchases and coupons for both.

A List offers more versatility, as it allows you to add Lists, Tours, or Screens as items, while a Tour is limited to adding Screens only.
