What is a Screen?

Screens are akin to pages in a book. You can think of them as stops in your tours, items in an exhibition, or standalone content.

There are three types of screens available:

  1. Story Screens: These screens can include various sections, such as text, media files, location maps, and links or buttons. You have full flexibility to customize the screen’s content and layout to suit your specific needs.
  2. Full Screen Image: This screen features an image that fills the entire screen, with optional hotspots for additional interaction. Images can be standard or panoramic/360-degree (available in STQRY Apps only).
  3. Web Screens: Embed a webpage, add custom HTML, or upload a mini web app. This type of screen allows you to provide rich, web-based content directly within your app.

Below are examples of the different types of screens. Click on the app names to view the live web versions of these apps.

What is a Tab?

Both Tour and List features include a map and geofencing capabilities. Additionally, you can set up in-app purchases and coupons for both.

A List offers more versatility, as it allows you to add Lists, Tours, or Screens as items, while a Tour is limited to adding Screens only.

To ensure your content is live in the app, remember to link it appropriately. For more guidance, refer to articles about How to create the Tabs, How to link content, and How to update content.
