How to convert your Apple developer account from an individual to an organization

There are two options when signing up for an Apple developer account including an individual and an organization. We encourage people to sign up as an organization than an individual so that you can invite us to your account to assist you with the app submission.

If you already signed up for an individual but are still able to request a DUNS number then you can reach out to Apple and request a change.

The following steps needed to get done to switch your account:

Sign in to your Apple Developer account at developer.apple.com > Click Contact us on the left-hand menu > Select Membership and Account > Program enrollment > Send email > Type this:

"I’d like to convert my account from Individual to Organization. Here is the information regarding the company:
CEO/Director Name: First and Last Name.
Company Name: Your Company Name, including Ltd or Inc.
Account Type: Organization.
D-U-N-S Number: your Company’s DUNS number.
Address: Your Company’s Legal Address.
Phone Number: Your mobile phone or another phone number where you can be reached"

Apple support will answer and provide you with further instructions to finish the process.
