How to Convert Apple Developer Account from Individual to Organization

Created by Glen Barnes, Modified on Wed, 9 Apr at 6:11 AM by Natalie Nguyen

There are two options when signing up for an Apple developer account including an individual and an organization. We encourage people to sign up as an organization rather than an individual so that you can invite us to your account to assist you with the app submission.

If you’d like to update your membership from an individual to an organization, please submit a request. You’ll need to be the founder/cofounder of the organization and provide details such as your organization’s D-U-N-S Number. You also may be asked to submit business documents to verify your organization’s identity.

Apple support will answer questions and provide you with further instructions on how to finish the process.
