How the app works

STQRY offers a no-code platform, allowing users to build customized apps with multiple features such as geofencing, badges, quizzes, push notifications, and in-app navigation. Since every app is unique, we have put together a general guide on how to use the app below.

At the end of this help article, you will also find tutorial videos on how to use the app and how to update content.

Download The App Content

Download the STQRY app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Select Download Tour. Once ready, tap Start Tour to begin your journey.

Allow GPS location tracking

You can navigate a tour with 2 options.

Automatic Mode: When you enter a geofenced area, the audio will play automatically, and a popup notification will display the stop’s name.
Manual Mode: If you prefer manual control, you can tap a map pin to jump to a specific stop or swipe left or right on the location boxes at the bottom of the screen to move between stops.

To activate the Automatic Mode, open the tour and allow location access when prompted:

"Allow Once" – The app will request location access again when reopened.
"Allow While Using App" – The app won’t prompt again, ensuring seamless navigation.
"Don’t Allow" – The app will have limited functionality but may remind you to enable location in Settings when needed.

Tip: To ensure the app runs smoothly in the background, go to your device settings, find STQRY, and set Location Access to "Always".

View Map

By default, the map zooms into the first stop. You can use various map icons to navigate through the content and explore different points of interest.

Each Stop shows different buttons depending on the types of content available
