Creating Developer Accounts and inviting STQRY to those accounts

There are a few things we'll need you to do before we can publish your app.

You will need to sign up for both Google and Apple Developer accounts:

The Apple Developer Program annual fee is $99 USD and Google Play has a one-time fee of $25 USD.

You will need to enroll in the Apple Developer Program as an Organization.

Consider adding multiple trusted phone numbers if you share the same login with other members. Refer to the instructions from Apple for more information.

You might be eligible for Apple Developer Program Membership Fee Waivers.

Enrolling as an Organization

You’ll need an Apple ID with two-factor authentication turned on, as well as the following to get started:

D-U-N-S® Number

Your organization must have a D-U-N-S Number so that we can verify your organization’s identity and legal entity status. These unique nine-digit numbers are assigned by Dun & Bradstreet and are widely used as standard business identifiers. You can check to see if your organization already has a D-U-N-S Number and request one if necessary. They are free in most jurisdictions. Learn more

Apple also provides a D-U-N-S Number lookup service for account holders through the following support article, located under the heading "Requesting a D-U-N-S Number". Please note that you will need to have already set up your login details for Apple Developer to access the tool: Learn more.

To look up your D-U-N-S number:

Use Apple's D-U-N-S Lookup Tool (requires Apple ID), https://developer.apple.com/enroll/duns-lookup/
Use Illion Express, https://express.illion.com.au/company
U.S.-based organizations can also use Dun & Bradstreet's Lookup Tool,
https://www.dnb.com/duns-number/lookup.html

Legal Entity Status

Your organization must be a legal entity so that it can enter into contracts with Apple. We do not accept DBAs, fictitious businesses, trade names, or branches.

Legal Binding Authority

As the person enrolling your organization in the Apple Developer Program, you must have the legal authority to bind your organization to legal agreements. You must be the organization’s owner/founder, executive team member, senior project lead, or have legal authority granted to you by a senior employee.

A Website

Your organization’s website must be publicly available and the domain name must be associated with your organization.

As part of the sign-up process, Google will require you to provide developer identity information, including a valid website. You may need to verify ownership of the website. The verification is done by adding a TXT record to your domain on your domain's registrar website. You domain registrar could be GoDaddy, Namecheap or similar. For assistance, you can consult your web developer or follow the general steps outlined in this GoDaddy article:

How to Add a TXT Record.

If you are planning to sell your apps or use in-app purchasing then you will need a Google Merchant Account and you will need to fill out the Paid Applications Contract in the Agreements, Tax and Banking section in App Store Connect. Details can be found here.
