What people see when they fill in a form

A form in STQRY Engage shows respondents a thank-you page when they send it, and a short message when a link can't be used. This article lists those messages, for when someone tells you a link isn't working.

Filling in the form

The form opens in the respondent's browser, or on the screen in your app. Required fields are marked with an asterisk, and a field left empty shows "This field is required." when they try to send.

Most forms ask the respondent to tick Verify you're human before sending.

After they click the submit button, they see "Thanks for your submission." and "Your response has been recorded."

When a form can't be sent

The respondent sees Why What to do
"This link isn't valid." The link was revoked, or an email invitation has already been used. Send them a new link.
"This link expired on" and a date The share link's Expiry date has passed. Create a new link, or send the form by email.
"This link has reached its submission limit." The share link reached its Submission limit. Create a new link.
"This form is no longer accepting submissions." The form can't be found. Check the link.
"Slow down for a minute." Too many responses came from one place in a short time. Wait a minute and try again.
"Couldn't verify you're human — please retry." The human check didn't finish. Try again, or try another browser.

Each share link's status shows on the form's Link invites tab. See Share a form with a link or QR code.
