Send a form by email

Email invites send your form to people in STQRY Engage, each with a personal link. Each invitation can be used for one response, and the form fills in their name and email for them.

Send a form

  1. Go to Engagement → Forms and open the form.
  2. Open the Email invites tab and click Send form.
  3. Under Recipients, add people, a marketing list, or email addresses.
  4. Check the Subject, Body and Button label. They start with sensible wording and the form's instructions.
  5. Optionally set a Reply-to address so replies come to you.
  6. Click Send.

The Send form dialog. The subject starts with your account name and the form's name.

Each send goes to one kind of recipient: chosen people, one marketing list, or typed email addresses. To reach more than one group, send again.

A marketing list is sent to everyone subscribed at the moment you click Send. People without an email address are skipped.

What recipients get

The email comes from your account's name and says "Hi" with the recipient's name, then your body text and a button that opens the form. Their email address is filled in for them, and their name too if they are in People.

Prefill fields

Prefill fields sets a value on a field for everyone in the send, such as the event they attended. A value you set here replaces the details taken from the recipient. Turn on Lock when prefilled for the field if recipients shouldn't change it. See Add fields to a form.

Track and manage invitations

The Email invites tab lists every send, with how many invitations went out. Click the eye icon on a send to see each recipient and whether they've opened or submitted the form.

Each invitation shows its status. This one has been submitted.

Use the icons on a row to resend an invitation, or to revoke it so its link stops working. A recently sent invitation can't be resent for a few minutes.

Unsubscribe requests

Every invitation tells the recipient to reply with "unsubscribe" to stop receiving them. Those replies go to your Reply-to address, so watch for them and unsubscribe the person yourself. See Manage marketing lists.
