When you're looking to stream your STQRY Fleet app to a TV, whether it's for a bus tour, train tour, or cruise tour, there are specific requirements and steps you need to follow for seamless remote display. Here's a guide to help you through the process:

Requirements:

  • Android Phone: Ensure that you have an Android phone available for streaming.
  • HDMI Out Support: Your phone must support HDMI out functionality. Typically, Samsung S series phones, particularly the "FE" range, offer this capability.
  • Enable the Remote TV Play Mode on the STQRY builder: make sure to activate the Remote TV Play mode in your tour. This setting can be found on the tour overview page. Read our help article here to learn about different tour modes.

  • Turn on the Driver Mode in Fleet on the STQRY Fleet app: To activate the Driver Mode in Fleet, follow these steps:

    • Navigate to your Profile settings by selecting the Profile icon.
    • Tap on the Cog icon to access additional settings.
    • Tap on the text "App version:" five times consecutively. This action will prompt a pin input field.
    • Input the pin provided by your Customer Success Manager (CSM) into the designated field.
    • Once the token is entered, locate and enable the Drive Mode option within the settings. For a visual guide on completing these steps, refer to the instructional video provided below.
While mirroring your phone's screen to the TV is an option, it may not provide the best viewing experience. You might encounter black bars at the top and bottom of the screen if the aspect ratio of your phone differs from that of the TV. Additionally, you won't be able to utilize the enhanced features of the driver mode.

If you want to display images in full screen on the TV, consider using the slideshow feature within the Fleet app. Upload the desired images and include an audio track to initiate the slideshow without any interruptions.
