Manage marketing lists

A marketing list is a group of people in STQRY Engage who've agreed to hear from you, such as a newsletter or an events list. You can send a form to everyone on a list, and people can join one by ticking a box on a form.

Create a list

Lists are created in Manage Account → STQRY Engage → Marketing Lists, which needs the CRM Admin permission. Click Create list, enter a Name, and save.

From the same page you can rename a list, or Archive one you no longer use. Archived lists can be brought back with Unarchive.

Let people sign up on a form

Add a Marketing list field to a form and choose the list. Respondents who tick it are added to the list. See Add fields to a form.

The form's Action must be Create people and marketing list subscriptions, and the form needs an Email field. See How form submissions add people.

See who's on a list

Go to Engagement → Marketing Lists. The list page shows how many people are Subscribed and Unsubscribed, among other statuses. Open a list to see each person and their status.

The Marketing Lists page under Engagement, showing one list with counts of subscribed, unsubscribed, bounced, junk and pending people.

The counts show how each list is doing.

Click Download CSV for a spreadsheet of the list.

Add or remove someone

To add someone, open the list, click Add subscriber, and choose a person. They need to be in People first. See Manage people.

To remove someone, click the unsubscribe icon (−) on their row. They stay on the list as Unsubscribed, with a note saying who unsubscribed them, so you have a record of it. You can subscribe them again if they ask.

Unsubscribe requests

People can ask to unsubscribe by replying to a form invitation. Unsubscribe them yourself from the list. See Send a form by email.
