Push notifications are a powerful tool for engaging with your mobile app users in real time. Unlike traditional communication channels, push notifications deliver your message directly to users' devices, even when the app is not in use. STQRY offers an intuitive platform for sending push notifications, allowing you to share important updates, events, or reminders with your app users. Please note that this feature is currently available on our Standard and Pro Plans, but you can inquire about customizing your existing plan with your Customer Success Manager.

  2. Then giving your notification a title. This title will appear at the top of the notification and should briefly describe the message's content.

  3. Next, write the message you want to send in the designated text box. Be concise and clear in your message to ensure that users understand the purpose of the notification.

  4. You have two options to schedule notifications including sending them immediately or scheduling a delivery date.

    • Send Immediately: If you want to send the notification right away, simply toggle the "Send Immediately" button. Your notification will be delivered to all users who have your native app installed.

    • Scheduled delivery date: If you prefer to send the notification at a specific date and time, click the "Scheduled delivery date" button and choose the desired date and time for delivery.

  5. Image (optional): includes an image in the message when the notification shows in the app.

  6. Item to open (optional): You can direct users to a specific screen or list within your app by selecting "View Item". This allows you to provide more context or details related to the notification.

  7. Once you've filled in the required details, your push notification is ready to go. Click the "Save and Send" button to deliver it to your app users or "Save Draft" if you still want to edit it later.

Monitoring Push Notification Performance

After sending your notification, keep track of its performance using the following metrics:

  • Delivered: This metric shows the number of devices that received the push notification.

  • Opened: Indicates how many devices clicked on the notification to view its content.

  • Check for Updates: Refresh the page to view updated metrics. The page is also refreshed daily.

  • Archived: Lists push notifications that were archived (hidden).
