Ever wondered how to create an engaging digital experience for your visitors? The STQRY Builder puts powerful tools at your fingertips to build interactive tours and content-rich apps.

Whether you're representing a museum, cultural site, or tourism destination, understanding the platform's layout is your first step toward creating memorable digital experiences.

In this article, we will walk you through the STQRY builder so that you can get familiar with its layout and capabilities.

The key areas to notice are Projects, Content, and Analytics.

Projects: The Foundation of Your App

The Projects section serves as the control center for your app's overall features and functionality. Here's what you'll find:

Overview

This is where you establish your app's identity by adding its name and configuring available languages. These fundamental settings shape how users first encounter your experience.

Tabs

This section is where you link app content to the main interface. Most mobile devices can display up to five tabs, including four customizable tabs and a default settings or Profile tab. When you enable features like the Favorite button or badges, the Settings tab automatically changes to a Profile tab.

Branding

Make your app distinctively yours by customizing the color scheme. Consistent branding helps create a cohesive, professional appearance that resonates with your audience.

Submit

This section (for native apps only) houses all the descriptions and information needed for App Store and Google Play submissions, streamlining the publication process.

Content: Building Your Digital Experience

The Content section is where your storytelling comes alive through collections, screens, and interactive elements:

Collections and Tours

Tour - Link screens together in a sequential order.
List - Used when items (including screens, tours or lists) do not follow a sequential order. Usually used to roup lists and tours together.

Screens

Story Screen - Add widgets to build tour stops, list pages, about us, etc.
Web Screen - Embed a web page, HTML, or mini web app
Full Screen Image - Create an image that covers the entire screen with the option for hotspots. It can be a regular image or a panoramic/360-degree image.

Media

Library of images, audio, and videos uploaded to the builder. Can be uploaded directly or added to a screen and will save here.

Badges

Badges reward achievements. Popups acknowledge badge acquisition when users perform tasks like navigating screens, answering questions, or visiting locations.

Quizzes

The Quiz section enhances app interactivity with sets of questionnaires, adding an engaging and enjoyable element to the app.

Analytics: Measuring Success

Once your guide is live, the Analytics section becomes invaluable for understanding how visitors interact with your content:

  • Track user engagement patterns to identify which content resonates most strongly.
  • Gather insights that help you make data-driven decisions about future content development.
  • Monitor performance metrics to continuously improve the visitor experience.

Now that you're familiar with the basic layout of the builder, you can manage and optimize your content on the STQRY platform.
